Application Instructions:
- Vacuum leaves and other foreign matter from pool.
- Backwash filter.
- For treating visible algae, use MSA II as per label directions.
- Metals from source water, ionisers or poorly sequestered copper-based algaecides have the potential to stain pool surfaces. Treat these problems using Pool Magnet and Quick Clear at least 5 days before using Back-Up II.
- Pour 50 mL of Back-Up II per 10,000 litres into a bucket containing at least 4 litres of clean water. Stir to completely dissolve all material.
- With pump running, pour the diluted Back-Up II around the edges of the pool near areas of greatest circulation.
- Allow the water to circulate for at least 2 – 4 hours after application.
- Apply a maintenance dose of 10 mL per 10,000 litres weekly, or 40 mL per 10,000 litres every month.
