Polygard is a non-foaming algaecide (sometimes referred to as a polyquat) that is excellent for use in pools with attached spas, fountains, or jetted returns. Polygard can be used with the BioGuard 3-Step programs as the maintenance algaecide for these types of pools.
To use Polygard:
Add an initial dose of 100 mL per 10,000 litres directly to the pool with the pump running. For routine maintenance apply 35 mL per 10,000 litres every week.
Wait 2 – 4 hours to swim after adding Polygard.
