Application Instructions:
- Clean filter and adjust water balance.
- Balance pool water pH to 7.4 – 7.6 and establish a minimum level of Stabiliser of 30 – 50 ppm.
- Oxidise water using BioGuard Burn Out Extreme or Burn Out 35 to remove algae nutrients.
- Brush swimming pool walls and vacuum dead algae to waste if possible.
- Apply Polygard evenly around the edges of pool with the filter running.
- Heavy algal growth requires 225 mL per 10,000 litres, light algal growth 150 mL per 10,000 litres. As an algae preventative, an initial dose of 100 mL of Polygard per 10,000 litres should be applied, followed by 35 mL per 10,000 litres on a weekly basis.
- 24 hours following treatment, brush pool walls and floor periodically and remove settled algae by vacuuming.
