Chem Out is a granular neutraliser that reduces excessive chlorine, bromine, or hydrogen peroxide residuals. Chem Out can reduce the time the pool is closed to swimmers when these residuals are too high to swim. It can be used in all types of pools with no effect on the pH.
To use Chem Out:
- When available chlorine is above 3.0 ppm, calculate the ppm of available chlorine that must be removed from the pool, (i.e. available chlorine minus 3.0 ppm).
- Calculate the amount of Chem Out required to perform the neutralisation. 18 grams will remove 1 ppm of chlorine or 2.25 ppm bromine in 10,000 litres.
- Add product directly to the pool scattering around the edge of pool.
- Keep pump on and water circulating. Do not add through the skimmer.
NOTE: Avoid physical contact with product. Follow safety information on label instructions. Store in a cool, dark place. Keep out of the reach of children.
