Salt Pool Stain & Scale Control is a liquid sequestering agent that prevents the formation of scale in salt chlorinated pools. Salt Pool Stain & Scale Control can also help remove some scale build-up. When applied according to label instructions, Salt Pool Stain & Scale Control remains active for up to 4 weeks. Using Salt Pool Stain & Scale Control can prevent costly repair bills from a build-up of calcium scale on salt cells and pool surfaces.
To use Scale Inhibitor:
Apply 250 mL per 10,000 litres to deep end of pool with pump running. Circulate 48 hours continually after application. Swimming can resume immediately after treatment.
Apply 125 mL per 10,000 litres of water once a month for maintenance if the calcium hardness of your fill water is high (e.g. pools filled with bore water).
