Back-Up II is a highly effective algae inhibitor that works extremely well with chlorinating products to prevent a broad variety of algae growth. The activity of Back-Up II actually increases as the water temperature rises, making it a perfect for hot weather, when algae is at its worst.
Back-Up II is Step 3 in the 5-Minute Work Week and other 3-Step programs
To use Back-Up II:
Add an initial dose of 50 mL per 10,000 gallons directly to the pool with the pump running. For maintenance, add 10 mL per 10,000 litres every week or 40 mL per 10,000 litres per month directly to the pool with the pump running. An additional maintenance dose following heavy rain is also recommended.
Wait 2 – 4 hours to swim after adding Back-Up II.
