Burn Out 35 is a lithium hypochlorite shock product that eliminates undesirable compounds like body oils, perspiration and urine. These compounds accumulate in your pool water and can cause a build-up of combined chlorine, cloudy water, strong odour and skin and eye irritation. Used every week, Burn Out 35 prevents this build-up. If some of these problems already exist, Burn Out 35 can eliminate them. It can also assist in killing resistant algae growth.
Burn Out 35 comes in convenient pre-measured 450-gram bags, making application easy and neat. It is fast-dissolving and totally soluble, so it does not cloud the water. There is no pre-dissolving (although this is recommended for bleachable surfaces as a safety precaution), so it is a very easy part of your regular pool maintenance. Burn Out 35 contains no calcium, so it does not affect the calcium hardness and is excellent for hard water areas.
To use Burn Out 35:
- When the pool is not in use, (preferably at night), broadcast 1 bag of Burn Out 35 per 35,000 litres directly into the pool with pump running.
- Do not swim until the free chlorine residual level falls to the ideal range of 1.5 – 3.0 ppm.
- Use every week as maintenance and after heavy rainfall or high bather loads.
