Burn Out is a calcium hypochlorite shock product that eliminates undesirable compounds like body oils, perspiration and urine. These compounds build up in your pool water and can cause a build-up of combined chlorine, cloudy water, strong odour and skin and eye irritation. Used every week, Burn Out prevents this build-up. If some of these problems already exist, Burn Out can eliminate them. It can also assist in killing resistant algae growth. Burn Out comes in convenient pre-measured 400-gram bags, making application easy and neat.
To use Burn Out:
- Pre-dissolve 1 bag of Burn Out per 40,000 litres in a bucket of clean water. NOTE: When pre-dissolving, always add product to water. Do not add water to product as heat can be liberated.
- When the pool is not in use and preferably at night, pour the solution around the pool with the pump running.
- Do not swim until the free chlorine residual level falls to 5.0 ppm or less.
- Use every week as maintenance, and after heavy rainfall or high bather loads.
NOTE: Avoid physical contact with product. Do not store near petroleum products. Follow safety information on label instructions. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of the reach of children.
