BioGuard Liqui Floc is a polymeric flocculating agent developed for swimming pools. Liqui Floc settles suspended particles that are too small for the filtering system to remove. Liqui Floc is NON-TOXIC, has no affect on the pool water pH, and has no affect on other chemicals used in the pool such as chlorine, bromine, algaecides and balance chemicals.

Flocculating a pool is a last resort and Liqui Floc should be used to clarify water only after normal treatment methods such as superchlorination, Polysheen and Quick Clear have failed. When a persistent cloudiness is plaguing a pool, it is important to closely examine the filtration system. Dirty media, worn gaskets, and tears in grids are some reasons for filter failure. In clearing a cloudy pool, be sure the circulation/filtration system operates continuously until clearing occurs.

Apply Liqui Floc evenly over the pool surface at the rate of 100 ml per 10,000 litres of pool water. Allow the circulation system to operate one hour. Shut off the pump and let the pool settle overnight. The next day, vacuum pool to waste, being very careful not to stir up the sediment.
